Capgemini is adding a new 5G Solutions Center in San Francisco

Capgemini announced the establishment of a ‘5G Solutions Center’ in North America, aimed at assisting organizations in innovating with 5G and Edge technologies. This center is located within Capgemini’s Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) in San Francisco, providing a platform for developing innovative use cases for 5G-based solutions through focused workshops with clients and partners, enabling them to integrate 5G into the core of their business.

The San Francisco center focuses on generating high-value use cases and customized solutions to meet the unique requirements of each client. It leverages an innovation ecosystem of technology partners to explore the various possibilities available to organizations, and draws on Capgemini’s expertise in developing comprehensive end-to-end 5G solutions within an advanced 5G connectivity environment. The center will support Network Equipment Providers (NEPs), Communication Services Providers (CSPs), enterprises, and industrial players in expediting the rollout of next-generation services and solutions, and capitalizing on the business benefits that 5G can offer.

The ‘5G Solutions Center’ showcases a variety of use cases across different industrial market segments, such as Augmented Assistance for enhanced safety and performance, minimized downtime, and reduced errors; Smart Surveillance to strengthen safety and security; and Smart Health for quicker diagnosis, better user experience, and remote access to specialists for consultations from any location.

The San Francisco center complements Capgemini’s 5G Labs in Paris, France; Fundão, Portugal; and Mumbai, India. These labs are designed to help organizations in all sectors prepare for the 5G and Edge revolution by facilitating data-driven transformation and achieving Intelligent Industry.
